• A former Annandale ambulance deployed on 9-11 repurposed as a mobile museum (annandaletoday.com) — An Annandale Volunteer Fire Department ambulance that responded to the Pentagon on 9-11 has found a second life as a mobile firefighting museum in West Virginia. The current owners recently confirmed its Annandale origins and now showcase it at events, honoring both local responders' role on that day and the broader history of fire service.
