2 Dozen Hurt In Head-On Bus Crash At Pentagon
The crash happened at a low speed, according to authorities.
ARLINGTON, VA – Two busses collided head-on in a Pentagon bus loop during the morning rush hour April 24, leaving two dozen people with injuries.
ABC 7, citing the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA), said the crash occurred around 7:20 a.m when an OmniRide bus and a Fairfax Connector transit bus ran head-on into each other.
The Metropolitan Area Transportation Operations Coordination (MATOC) Program specified that the accident occurred on North Rotary Road at the Pentagon Transit Center.

Twenty-three passengers were injured, with 18 taken to local hospitals.

The Pentagon Metro Station and Pentagon Transit Center were closed for several hours after the crash but reopened shortly before noon.
