ARLINGTON, VA — Virginia State Police issued a Codi Alert Monday for a missing 16-year-old Arlington boy who police say may be at risk.

Christopher Kirk Thaw was last seen at 6:45 a.m. Monday, June 8, leaving his residence on 28th Street in Arlington on foot to go to school, according to Virginia State Police.

The Arlington County Police Department is searching for Thaw, who is described as Black, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing light gray sweatpants with white trim and a baby blue short-sleeve polo shirt, police said.

Virginia State Police said Thaw’s disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety, as determined by the investigating agency.
