Organizers break ground on education center at Pentagon 9/11 memorial (militarytimes.com) — A new $100 million Pentagon 9/11 Memorial Visitor Education Center is moving forward just across the parkway from the existing memorial in Arlington, promising exhibits, programs, and event space when it opens in 2029. Organizers have raised about a quarter of the needed funding so far, with support from federal, state, and private sources and a new National Park Service grant.
