Attorneys Seek Criminal Investigation of ICE Officers in Arlington Injury Case of José Mejía Hernandez (fcnp.com) — An Arlington man who suffered a traumatic brain injury after an encounter with ICE officers plans to file a police report this morning at Arlington County Police Headquarters. His attorneys say they'll present new evidence and ask local, state, and federal authorities to open a criminal investigation into the officers' conduct.
   

4. Pentagon upgrades valor award for Pembine Marine wounded at Abbey Gate (fox11online.com) — A Pentagon ceremony in Arlington honored Marine Cpl. Michael Gretzon and two fellow Marines with upgraded valor awards for their actions during the deadly 2021 Abbey Gate bombing in Kabul. The event recognized their lifesaving efforts under fire and corrected what Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth called improperly downgraded original awards.
   

5. Trump to honor 9/11 at Pentagon after NYC memorial forbids speech: Report (washingtonexaminer.com) — President Donald Trump is expected to mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11 at the Pentagon memorial in Arlington rather than at New York City's Ground Zero ceremony. The New York memorial bars political speeches, while Trump reportedly wanted to deliver remarks honoring the victims.
