Teen Charged After Knife Attack In Arlington: Police
A juvenile was arrested after police said he struck another teen with a knife and chased him while making threats in Arlington.
ARLINGTON, VA — A teenager is facing charges after police said he attacked another juvenile with a knife and chased him through an Arlington neighborhood.
The victim was outside in the 4000 block of 15th Street North when the suspect, an acquaintance in his late teens, approached him, took out a knife and struck him with it, according to Arlington County police.
Police said the victim tried to walk away, but the suspect chased him with the knife while making threats. The suspect stopped following him after the victim called police.

The victim suffered minor injuries and was treated and released at the scene.
Responding officers later found someone matching the suspect's description near 9th Street North and North Pollard Street and took him into custody. Police said a knife was recovered during the investigation.

Because the suspect is a juvenile, police did not release his name. He was charged with malicious wounding, assault and battery, and underage alcohol consumption.
