Man Dies In Shooting At Loudoun Gun Range, 'No Threat To Community': LCSO
A man in his 20s was pronounced dead after suffering a reported self-inflicted gunshot wound at a public gym and shooting range on Sunday.
ASHBURN, VA – A man in his early 20s was shot and killed Sunday at the XCAL Shooting and Fitness Center near One Loudoun in Ashburn, in an incident that is not being investigated as a criminal matter, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
Loudoun Now reports that the incident occurred at around 10:50 a.m. and that the gunshot wound was self-inflicted.
The sheriff's office said the man, who was not identified, was taken to the hospital following the shooting, where he died.

The LCSO told Patch there was "no threat to the community," but would not state whether the shooting was intentional.
"As this was an isolated incident, not being investigated as a criminal matter, no additional details will be released at this time," the agency said.

The XCAL Shooting and Fitness facility includes a gym, spa and shooting ranges, as well as a cafe and retail stores.
