• Metro works to clear storm damage, warns of bus and rail impacts (wjla.com) — Silver Line riders from Ashburn should expect shortened service this morning, with trains only running between Ashburn and Clarendon or Federal Center SW while Metro clears storm damage. Severe weather Thursday night caused debris, rail issues, and delays across the system, including on the Orange and Blue lines and several school bus routes. Metro urges commuters to check for updates and allow extra travel time.
   

• StageCoach Theatre Is Moving from Ashburn to Dulles Town Center (northernvirginiamag.com) — StageCoach Theatre Company, long based on Ashburn Road, is relocating to a larger space at Dulles Town Center and shifting its focus to interactive murder mystery dinner shows. Traditional children's theater classes, camps, and productions in Ashburn are ending, though private lessons will continue. Locals can still visit the Ashburn site through September 14 for a big costumes and props sale.
