• 93-year-old Springfield man dies after vehicles collide in Fairfax County intersection (newsbreak.com) — A 93-year-old Springfield man has died after a two-vehicle collision at Fairfax County Parkway and Burke Lake Road, a key intersection for many Burke drivers. Police say speed may have been a factor for the Nissan involved, while alcohol and speed are not suspected for the Toyota driver. Investigators are asking anyone who saw the crash to contact Fairfax County's Crash Reconstruction Unit.
