• Fairfax Man Arrested By Federal Authorities On Gun Charge After Centreville Incident (patch.com) — Residents in Centreville may notice increased federal attention after a local brandishing report at a Lee Highway business led to a felon-in-possession firearm charge against a man with prior convictions. Fairfax County police say they traced him through a wallet left at the scene, later seizing a handgun and ammunition from his home before federal authorities took over the case.
   

• Highline at Greensboro offices in Tysons likely to remain after $77M sale (ffxnow.com) — Finmarc Management's recent purchase of the Cinemark movie theater property in Centreville means the cinema will keep operating for now, though a future tenant or redevelopment is still on the table. The company is using proceeds from other Northern Virginia property sales to refocus on office and mixed-use opportunities, including keeping Tysons' Highline at Greensboro offices active instead of redeveloping them into housing.
