Going Green: Know Toxics Training March 19

Prince William County businesses and those in other Northern Virginia counties can learn aboutdisposing of dangerous chemicals and other hazardous materials in a "Know Toxics" seminar on Tuesday, March 19.

Sponsored by the Virginia Waste Management Board, the event will be from 9:30 am. to 3 p.m. at the I-66 Transfer Facility Training Center in Fairfax.

"Attendees will learn to manage and properly dispose of common hazardous materials commonly found at businesses such as fluorescent light bulbs, batteries, thermostats, or electronics," according to an announcement posted at Patch.
