Deadly I-495 Crash Leaves Fairfax Man Dead, Annandale Driver Charged
A Fairfax man died in an I-495 crash, and an Annandale driver was seriously injured and charged with DUI, police said.

FAIRFAX, VA — A Fairfax man died and an Annandale man was seriously injured in an early-morning crash Sunday on Interstate 495, according to Virginia State Police.
The crash occurred around 2:20 a.m. on the northbound side of I-495, south of Braddock Road in Fairfax County.
A state trooper who responded found a Toyota Camry on fire and a white BMW with damage to its front end, police said.

The Camry’s driver, 68-year-old Hung Nhu Ong of Fairfax, died at the scene.
The BMW’s driver, 22-year-old Giancarlo Becerra-Claros of Annandale, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. State police charged Becerra-Claros with driving under the influence.
