Fairfax Restaurants Join 2026 Summer Restaurant Week

FAIRFAX, VA — Diners can sample special menus from seven Fairfax-area restaurants when Metropolitan Washington Summer Restaurant Week returns from Monday, Aug. 24, through Sunday, Aug. 30.

The annual promotion features three-course menus at participating restaurants across the Washington, D.C., region. Prices and available meals vary by restaurant, with Fairfax options ranging from $25 lunches to $65 dinners.

Participating locations include restaurants in Fairfax City, Fair Lakes and the Merrifield area. Menus are added throughout the promotion, according to the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington.

Fairfax Restaurant Week Participants

B Side, 8298 Glass Alley: The Mosaic District restaurant focuses on simply prepared food alongside wine, cocktails and beer. Its team includes chef and butcher Nathan Anda, beer director Greg Engert and wine director Erin Dudley. B Side will be offering both $25 brunch and $40 dinner menus for restaurant week.

Big Buns Fairfax, 10392 Fairfax Blvd.: The American restaurant in the Point 50 shopping center will offer a $25 lunch menu. The location has a dog-friendly patio, local beers and other beverages on tap, delivery and two curbside parking spaces for carryout.

Matchbox Merrifield, 2911 District Ave., Suite 120: The American restaurant will offer a $25 lunch and a $40 dinner. Matchbox’s regular offerings include wood-fired pizzas, mini burgers, salads and entrees such as pan-seared sea bass and oven-roasted filet mignon. Outdoor dining and outdoor reservations are available.

Milk & Honey Fairfax, 9518 Main St.: The New Orleans-themed Southern restaurant will offer a $40 dinner menu. Its regular menu includes shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, RumChata French toast and other slow-cooked dishes. A paired wine or cocktail option is available.

NAJA Mediterranean, 2911 District Ave., Suite 140: Diners can choose from $25 and $35 brunch menus, a $25 lunch, and $40 and $55 dinners. The restaurant draws on founder Tariq Alaeddin’s Lebanese heritage while incorporating American influences. The entire table must participate, and splitting or substitutions are not allowed. During restaurant week, NAJA will be offering the following menus: $25 brunch, $35 brunch, $25 lunch, $40 dinner and $55 dinner.

The Capital Grille Fairfax, 12169 Fair Lakes Promenade: The steakhouse will offer a $65 dinner menu. The restaurant specializes in dry-aged steaks and fresh seafood and also has an extensive wine list.

Velocity Bar + Kitchen Fairfax, 10697 Braddock Road: The American restaurant near George Mason University will offer a $25 lunch and a $40 dinner, with a paired wine or cocktail option available. Velocity’s regular offerings include wings and drinks, and the restaurant has covered and outdoor patio space.

Metropolitan Washington Summer Restaurant Week participants and menus may change. Diners should check directly with each restaurant for availability, restrictions and reservations.
