• Report: Close calls with drivers on Fairfax roads are recurring issues, not isolated (ffxnow.com) — Falls Church residents are part of a regional push to fix dangerous roads, as new data show most reported near-misses in Fairfax County, Fairfax City, and Falls Church are recurring problems at known hotspots. A joint Falls Church–Fairfax project will add a shared-use path and other pedestrian upgrades near Meridian High School, while advocates urge stronger crosswalks, cameras, and school-area safety measures countywide.
