• Environmental public comment open for planned Microsoft data center near Gainesville (insidenova.com) — A large Microsoft data center is planned just outside Gainesville in Prince William County, and state regulators are now taking public comments on its environmental impacts through Aug. 7. Residents can review project documents in Richmond and submit feedback by email or mail on proposed stream and wetland impacts tied to the 123-acre site near I-66 and University Boulevard.
