• Two teens charged with assault after teacher injured during fight at Mechanicsville High School bus loop (wric.com) — Two Mechanicsville High School students in Hanover County are facing assault and battery charges after a fight in the bus loop during dismissal left a teacher struck, though not seriously hurt. Deputies and school staff quickly broke up the altercation, and one teen also faces charges for allegedly threatening bodily injury and assaulting a school employee; officials emphasize no weapons were involved.
