Make Weird Old Crafts Ahead Of Halloween At This Loudoun County Library
A Loudoun County library is hosting a creepy crafting event with patterns pulled from a century-old magazine.
LEESBURG, VA – A Loudoun County library is inviting guests to come make “weird, old crafts” ahead of Halloween.
Leesburg’s Thomas Balch Library invites local crafters and Halloween history enthusiasts to drop by and make some perhaps unintentionally creepy paper bag Halloween masks following patterns plucked from the October 1907 issue of “Ladies’ Home Journal.”
According to a release from the library, templates for a variety of animals are available, from lions to fish to owls and other creatures. Supplies will be provided, and some adjustments will be made to ensure the finished masks meet modern safety standards.
