Owners Eleftherios "Ares" Nakos and Jonathan Thompson praise the supportive downtown business community, as nearby development plans call for new housing, structured parking, and a boutique hotel that could further boost the area.
   

• Man blames McDonald's breakfast for speeding nearly 50 mph over limit in Manassas (wjla.com) — Manassas City Police released body-camera video of an Aug. 16 traffic stop where a motorcyclist was clocked at 72 mph in a 25 mph zone on Hastings Drive, earning a reckless driving ticket. Officers use the footage to warn Manassas riders and drivers that extreme speeding can quickly turn deadly, urging everyone to slow down and stay alert.
