'Anti-Immigrant' Flyers Distributed In Alexandria Neighborhood Overnight: Report
Alexandria residents say they're concerned after flyers discussing laws barring "illegal aliens" from voting were found on cars.
ALEXANDRIA, VA – An Alexandria woman says security camera footage has captured a person placing flyers about election laws and election fraud on neighborhood cars in the middle of the night this week, according to a new report.
DC News Now reports that Alexandria resident Olivia Troye captured the footage, which she says shows someone wearing a disguise while walking among the cars and putting on the flyers. She called the flyers very "anti-immigrant," according to the outlet.
Photos of the flyers depict a sheet of paper with “Virginia Community Watch Sanctuary City Information Notice” across the top. The text encourages recipients to report suspected incidents of undocumented people voting in federal elections and appears to repeat the text of laws barring undocumented migrants from voting or living in the U.S.

WTOP reports that another resident removed “dozens” of such flyers from cars and shows one flyer with “Arlington Community Watch” written across the top.
Residents told the outlets that they believe the flyers are intended to intimidate immigrants out of voting in November.
