Victim In ParcView Apartments Homicide Identified

ALEXANDRIA, VA – The victim in Wednesday night's homicide at the ParcView Apartments has been identified as Charles Talley, 36, of no fixed address.

The Alexandria Police Department announced the identification at about 5 p.m. on Thursday.

According to the department, officers found Talley, suffering from a gunshot wound, at around 11:15 p.m. Wednesday in front of the ParcView apartment complex at 5380 Holmes Run Parkway.

They say the cause and manner of death will be determined by the city's medical examiner. The death remains under investigation, and the department asks anyone who might have seen anything unusual in the area around the time of the incident to contact them. They're especially interested in any security or doorbell camera footage, dashcam footage or cell phone photos or videos.
