• County board allows housing with retail at Reston's Lake Fairfax Business Park (ffxnow.com) — Fairfax County supervisors have cleared the way for up to 1,250 homes and supporting retail at Lake Fairfax Business Park in Reston, shifting the mostly vacant office complex toward mixed-use housing. A detailed rezoning proposal from EYA Development would add townhomes, condos, and a multifamily building near Wiehle-Reston East, with final hearings coming this fall that could reshape a large slice of south Reston.
