WOODBRIDGE, VA – Police are looking for the person responsible for putting a teenage boy in the hospital with life-threatening injuries on Saturday. According to the Prince William County Police Department, a 16-year-old was shot at a large car meet in Woodbridge in the early hours of Saturday. Police were alerted to the shooting when the teen was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound to the upper body. They say he has serious injuries and remains in the hospital. Responding to the scene of the shooting, the 14100 block of Crossing Place in Woodbridge, at 2:02 a.m., police say they found shell casings and evidence of a fight, but no witnesses or participants. No information about a suspect has been released. Prince William County police ask anyone with information about the shooting to contact them at (703) 792-7000 or submit a tip <a href="https://www.pwcva.gov/policetip" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">online</a>.
