A driver who struck a 78-year-old man in a commuter parking lot is facing charges.
WOODBRIDGE, VA – The driver who struck a 78-year-old man in a Woodbridge commuter parking lot has been charged with failing to stop at a stop sign, Prince William County police announced Thursday.
According to the Prince William County Police Department, Arlen Yessenia Vivas Perez, 42, of Woodbridge, failed to stop her 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee at a stop sign in the Occoquan Commuter Lot on Old Bridge Road on the morning of July 10. Officers say that failure contributed to the collision that killed 78-year-old John Gregory Grace of Occoquan.
Investigators say Grace was crossing the Gordon Boulevard entry and exit lanes of the lot when he was struck.
