New 415-Home Community Planned For Prince William County

NOKESVILLE, VA — More than 400 new homes are planned for the Nokesville area as a developer moves forward with a new community in Prince William County's Vint Hill corridor.

Van Metre announced Tuesday that it closed on the first parcel of land for Greenhaven, a master-planned community that has been rezoned and approved for about 415 homes. The community will be located near major routes including Interstate 66 and Route 28.

Plans call for a mix of single-family homes, townhomes and duplex-style residences. The development is also expected to include open space, walking trails, a community garden, playgrounds and a landscaped pond.

The development will also feature a clubhouse, splash pad, sports courts and pocket parks. The development will include transportation improvements, although Van Metre did not provide details about those improvements in its announcement.

With the initial land acquisition complete, Van Metre said it will continue planning and infrastructure work in the coming months.

Details about home prices, floor plans and homesites have not yet been announced. The company also did not provide a timeline for when homes are expected to go on sale.
