Woodbridge Man Arrested After Brandishing Gun At Neighbors Lighting Fireworks: Police

The 59-year-old man is accused of brandishing a weapon at a group of kids and adults.

WOODBRIDGE, VA –A Woodbridge man was arrested on July 4 after brandishing a weapon at neighbors setting off fireworks, Prince William County police say.

According to the Prince William County Police Department, officers responded on Saturday to the 3000 block of Seminole Road in Woodbridge after a brandishing was reported at 9:30 p.m. Police say a group of children and adults were legally setting off fireworks when a neighbor approached and brandished a firearm at an 11-year-old boy and a 41-year-old man.

The man and boy were able to leave the area and no injuries were reported.

Joseph Benjamin Gray, 59, of Woodbridge, was arrested that night and is charged with brandishing. According to police, his next court date has not yet been scheduled.
