PWC Man Charged Over Sexual Assault At Elementary School Basketball Court: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA – A 34-year-old Woodbridge man has been arrested in connection with a reported sexual assault on the grounds of Rosa Parks Elementary School, Prince William County police say.

According to the Prince William County Police Department, officers responded to reports of a sexual assault at the elementary school grounds on 13446 Princedale Dr. in Woodbridge on Sunday. They say that a 14-year-old boy was playing basketball on school grounds when he was approached by an unknown man, who asked to join him. The man then touched the boy inappropriately and pushed him to the ground, resulting in minor injuries to the boy.

Timothy Michael Bangura, 34, of Woodbridge, was identified as the suspect in the assault and arrested the same day. He is charged with sexual battery and assault and battery and is being held without bond.
