• La Conner bans cryptocurrency kiosks (thenewstribune.com) — An Oak Harbor resident played a visible role in La Conner’s new ban on cryptocurrency kiosks, warning councilmembers about scams tied to the machines. The council ultimately voted to prohibit all virtual currency kiosks in town and ordered the lone existing kiosk removed within 90 days, following a similar move by Anacortes.
