• AT&T store in Pierce County has suddenly closed. Here's what we know (thenewstribune.com) — An AT&T-authorized retailer on Bridgeport Way in University Place has abruptly closed, leaving local customers to seek service at other nearby locations in South Tacoma. Employees in neighboring businesses say the store shut down within the past week, and the operator, Prime Communications, has not explained the decision. The closure comes amid broader wireless retail cutbacks across Washington. 
• TNT's fourth annual high school football fantasy draft (thenewstribune.com) — A South Sound high school football fantasy draft from The News Tribune highlights standout players expected to post big numbers this fall, including Curtis High running back Tyce Kinley in University Place. Reporters built competing rosters from programs across the region, from Puyallup to Graham-Kapowsin and Sumner. Local fans can use the list to track which area stars to watch on Friday nights.
