• Suspect allegedly shot woman in the face (theintermountain.com) — Elkins Police officers joined state troopers and Randolph County deputies responding to a reported shooting on Turkey Bone Road near Pickens, where a woman was allegedly shot in the face during a campsite altercation. A Barbour County woman is now jailed on an attempted murder charge as investigators piece together differing witness accounts of what led to the gunfire.
