• Madison School District unveils roadmap for the next 5 years (madison.com) — Madison's public school leaders have rolled out a new five‑year strategic plan that will guide priorities for students, staff, and families across the district. Superintendent Joe Gothard, board leaders, and a student representative outlined goals for academics, equity, and accountability, giving Madison residents a clearer sense of where their schools are headed next.
   

• Big Ten blood drive kicks off at UW-Madison (wmtv15news.com) — UW–Madison is kicking off a Big Ten-wide "We Give Blood" competition, and local donors can help the Badgers defend last year's first-place finish. Through Dec. 4, anyone can give blood anywhere and credit donations to Wisconsin for a shot at a $1 million Abbott grant, while supporting patients like Verona's Alfie Mullis who relied on transfusions during leukemia treatment.
   

• Eight area youth football teams receive grant from Green Bay Packers (wmtv15news.com) — Three Madison youth football programs—Lancer Youth Football, Mad Town Elite, and Regent Sports—have each received a $1,000 Packers Youth Football Matching Grant for equipment, uniforms, and facility upgrades. They're among 20 Wisconsin teams supported through the Green Bay Packers Give Back community initiative, bringing fresh resources to local kids on the field.
