Championship Rally

Henry Maier Festival Park opens at 8 a.m., and festivities run until 3 p.m. Admission to the grounds is free on a first come, first served basis until capacity is reached.

The rally will feature Brewers alumni, live DJs, merchandise sold only at the celebration and a showing of "Ueck," the documentary about the late broadcaster Bob Uecker. The first 50,000 fans will receive a limited-edition rally towel courtesy of Associated Bank.

A separate ticketed program will be held inside the American Family Insurance Amphitheater. Tickets go on sale at 2 p.m. Thursday, with a limit of two per email address, and net proceeds will benefit the Brewers Community Foundation. Fans without tickets can watch the speeches on video boards throughout the grounds.

How The Brewers Got Here

Jacob Misiorowski threw 5 2/3 scoreless innings in the clincher, and rookie Cooper Pratt had two hits and two RBIs. Catcher William Contreras was named World Series MVP.

Milwaukee opened the series with a 3-2 win in Game 1 and a 5-4 win in Game 2 at American Family Field, then routed the Rays 10-1 in Game 3 before dropping Game 4, 4-3.

The Brewers won a franchise record 103 games during the regular season and went 11-2 in the playoffs, including a sweep of the two-time defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series.

The title is the first for the franchise and the city's first World Series championship since the 1957 Milwaukee Braves. The Brewers' only other World Series appearance came in 1982, when they lost to the St. Louis Cardinals in seven games and Milwaukee threw them a parade anyway.
