Video: WI Parent Cited After Tripping 9-Year-Old Player During Youth Football Game (patch.com) — Milwaukee youth football fans are reacting after a Milwaukee parent was cited for disorderly conduct for tripping a 9-year-old player during a Brew City League game in Mount Pleasant. Police say the boy was unhurt and kept playing, but league officials banned the parent from future games and fined the Milwaukee Colts organization, sparking debate over sideline behavior.
   

2. Over 21K people expected to be in Milwaukee for international Jehovah's Witness convention (wpr.org) — Thousands of Jehovah's Witnesses are converging on downtown Milwaukee this weekend as the Baird Center hosts an international convention expected to draw more than 21,000 attendees, including 5,000 from abroad. Volunteers from Milwaukee and beyond have been power-washing streets, cleaning thousands of chairs, and preparing the venue, with many saying the rare global gathering deepens their appreciation for the city as a welcoming host.
   

3. Former MPS coach, security guard charged with grooming, sexual misconduct (jsonline.com) — Milwaukee families are learning that a former Milwaukee Public Schools coach and security guard is charged with multiple counts related to alleged inappropriate online contact with boys from Lincoln Center of the Arts. Police, school leaders and Title IX officials describe how the investigation unfolded and outline ways students, staff and parents can confidentially report concerns or seek support.
   

4. Silk on Water temporarily closing, cites concerns with downtown Milwaukee violence (wisn.com) — A downtown Milwaukee strip club, Silk on Water, is temporarily closing, saying ongoing violence and public safety concerns make it too risky to keep operating. The owners urge stronger police presence, coordinated security, youth outreach, and tougher enforcement on illegal weapons, while planning to reassess in November. Other nearby businesses, including Duke's on Water, have also shut their doors over similar worries.
   

5. Milwaukee County chase; driver arrested, swallows suspected narcotics (fox6now.com) — Milwaukee County deputies say a driver led them and Milwaukee police on an 8.5-mile chase Friday evening before fleeing on foot and swallowing what appeared to be narcotics. Narcan was administered, Milwaukee Fire evaluated the suspect, and no crashes or injuries were reported, but the driver was taken to a hospital and arrested.
