• Six new EV charging stations slated for Northeast Wisconsin as state adds 42 total (wtaq.com) — Waukesha is slated to get a new federally funded EV charging station as part of a $25 million grant adding 42 fast-charging sites across Wisconsin. The project aims to ensure chargers roughly every 50 miles on key routes, supporting current and future EV drivers in Waukesha while boosting travel convenience and economic activity at nearby businesses statewide.
   

• OneTouchPoint Agrees to Multi-Million Dollar Data Breach Settlement (hipaajournal.com) — A major data breach lawsuit against Wisconsin vendor OneTouchPoint is moving toward settlement in Waukesha County Circuit Court, with millions earmarked for security upgrades and victim compensation. If your health or insurance data was exposed, you may qualify for credit monitoring, reimbursement for losses, or a cash payment, with key opt-out and claims deadlines in October and November 2026.
   

• ETF Welcomes New Leadership Team (wi.gov) — A Waukesha-raised attorney, Diana Felsmann, has been promoted to lead Wisconsin's Department of Employee Trust Funds, which oversees retirement and insurance benefits for hundreds of thousands of public employees and retirees. She's joined by a new deputy and incoming assistant deputy secretary, changes that could influence how state and local workers in Waukesha experience pensions, health coverage, and future system upgrades.
