LMC 2026 Discovery Award Winners: Students Earn Nearly $25K (fortscott.biz) — Central High School in Cheyenne is celebrating student Noah Make, who earned the $6,000 Grand Prize in a national "unsung heroes" documentary competition, and teacher Aaron Kruger, who received a $1,000 Outstanding Educator Award. Their work, recognized by the Lowell Milken Center in Kansas, showcases how Cheyenne students are gaining national attention for powerful storytelling about overlooked historical figures.
   

4. PREP GOLF: Central's Beach third after shortened first round at state tourney (wyomingnews.com) — Cheyenne Central junior Bella Beach sits just one stroke off the lead after a weather-shortened first round of the 4A state golf tournament, while Cheyenne East's Annalise Kelly is tied for seventh. Feds say Rawlins man distributed 23 pounds of methamphetamine in Wyoming; 18 years imposed (capcity.news) — A major meth trafficking investigation that touched Cheyenne, Casper, Rawlins and several other Wyoming counties has ended with an 18-year federal sentence for Rawlins resident Denny Jason Shrove, held responsible for redistributing at least 23 pounds of meth.
