• Youth Ballfields Across Calhoun County Receive AEDs, Expanding Emergency Preparedness (calhounjournal.com) — Youth ballfields in Alexandria are now equipped with lifesaving AEDs, thanks to donations and hands-on training that specifically support Alexandria Youth Baseball and Softball. Local leaders say the new devices and instruction will help coaches, volunteers, and families respond quickly in emergencies, as part of a broader safety push also reaching Saks, Pleasant Valley, Weaver, and Wellborn.
