TUSCALOOSA, AL — An overturned commercial vehicle has caused a lane closure on Skyland Boulevard in Tuscaloosa County Wednesday afternoon.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) said the single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 12:34 p.m. near the Interstate 59 Exit 76 off-ramp.

ALEA said the commercial vehicle overturned, blocking the westbound lanes of Skyland Boulevard. The roadway is expected to remain closed for an undetermined amount of time as authorities work the scene.

Troopers with ALEA's Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash and monitoring traffic conditions in the area.
