Using tools like Lightspeed Systems and Google Gemini, the district is rolling out a tiered framework for classroom AI use that encourages innovation in some subjects while limiting plagiarism risks and preserving hands-on learning.
   

4. 'He was such a good kid': Granada alum ID'd as passenger killed in Monterey crash (pleasantonweekly.com) — A Livermore family is grieving 19-year-old Granada High alum Jerrod Chapman-Marshall, who died after an Aug. 16 crash near Monterey that also injured a 20-year-old Dublin resident now facing DUI-related charges. Friends, former teammates, and community members have rallied around Jerrod's mother with a GoFundMe and a birthday gathering at Granada Bowl to honor his life.
