Fatal Crash Between Truck And Car Kills 1 Passenger, CHP Seeks Public Help
CHP is seeking additional witnesses to help investigate a fatal crash between a tractor-trailer and car in unincorporated Alameda County.
ALAMEDA COUNTY — The California Highway Patrol is asking for the public's help in investigating a fatal crash involving a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle Friday on Mountain House Road in unincorporated Alameda County.
The collision occurred about 12:04 p.m. north of West Grant Line Road between a white 2014 Freightliner Cascadia tractor hauling two end-dump trailers and a tan 2004 Honda Civic, the CHP said Saturday.
The Honda was traveling north on Mountain House Road toward the tractor-trailer going south when a broadside crash occurred in the southbound lane, the highway patrol said.

The collision killed a passenger in the Honda, the CHP said.
Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, the highway patrol said.

The CHP is seeking assistance in identifying additional witnesses to the crash.
