Triple Shooting In SGV A Possible Murder-Suicide: Reports

BALDWIN PARK, CA — At least two people were killed early Friday morning in a shooting in Baldwin Park.

The shooting was reported about 5:05 a.m. near the corner of Millbury and Bresse avenues, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Two people were pronounced dead at the scene and one person was critically wounded and taken to a hospital, a dispatcher said.

The incident is being investigated as a double murder and possible suicide, NBC Los Angeles reported later Friday morning, citing unnamed law enforcement sources.

The station reported that the person who was hospitalized ended up succumbing to his or her injuries.

Police blocked off much of the residential neighborhood as the investigation continued later Friday morning, KTLA reported. Aerial footage showed a large police presence in the area and a coroner's tent set up near the victims.

Neighbors told KTLA they were awakened by the sound of gunfire early Friday morning.
