• Menlo Park victim identified in fatal assault (almanacnews.com) — A 52-year-old Menlo Park resident, Andres Alberto Henriquez Gomez, has been identified as the victim who died after an assault in East Palo Alto earlier this month. Police quickly arrested a suspect with a lengthy local criminal history, and prosecutors are reviewing potential charges while offering condolences to the victim's family and noting the city's first homicide in more than two years.
