• Trial date set for cop accused of sexually assaulting women (kesq.com) — A Murrieta resident and Menifee police officer is scheduled for trial Nov. 9 on multiple serious sex-crime charges involving five women, following an investigation by the Riverside County Sheriff's Special Victims Unit. The case, tied to incidents between 2023 and 2025, is being handled at the Southwest Justice Center, and the officer remains jailed without bail and on unpaid leave from the department.
