DiMaggio takes over the county Flood Control and Water Conservation District. Crews are building controversial flood walls along the west side of the Napa River and planning a Riverside Drive barrier, while the multi-decade Napa River–Napa Creek Flood Protection Project moves into its final stages.

Police: Three arrested after $1,000 of Lego sets stolen in Napa (napavalleyregister.com) — Napa police and sheriff's deputies recently arrested three men after more than $1,000 in Lego sets were stolen from the Target in north Napa, with all merchandise recovered.
