O'Connor (popculture.com) — A longtime film and TV production executive who helped bring The Muppet Movie and its sequel to life died in Palm Desert on July 22 at age 98. Richard L. O'Connor's career spanned major films, an Emmy-winning TV movie, and work on American Gladiators, with services held earlier this month in Fort Bragg.
