• 6 Teens Arrested After Brawl At Redlands High School Leaves Staff Injured (patch.com) — Redlands families are learning more about a violent brawl at Citrus Valley High School that led to six teens being arrested and several people treated after pepper spray was used. Redlands police and fire crews responded, staff members were injured, and school officials say an internal investigation and administrative discipline are underway as authorities continue probing what sparked the dispute.

• Adelanto, Hesperia Among 9 Cities Targeted In Aug. 31-Sept. 6 Operation Consequences; 15 Firearms Seized (vvng.com) — Redlands was one of nine San Bernardino County cities included in a weeklong Operation Consequences crime sweep that seized 15 firearms and led to 14 felony arrests. Sheriff's investigators and partner agencies focused on gang members and people barred from having guns, part of an ongoing county-funded push to curb violent crime and improve neighborhood safety.
