• Roseville looks to grow local food scene by mentoring new chefs (cbsnews.com) — Roseville is investing directly in its food scene by mentoring emerging chefs and food entrepreneurs through its Venture Lab and annual food showcase. Local bakers like V's Baking Boutique gain business skills and mentorship, while the city also offers up to $50,000 to help new businesses open downtown, aiming to expand dining options and strengthen the local economy.
   

• Armored Saint share 'Not On Your Life' visualizer (nextmosh.com) — Rock and metal fans in Roseville can catch Armored Saint and Metal Church when their Metal Saint Tour hits Goldfield Trading Post on November 18. The bands are supporting Armored Saint's latest album, Emotion Factory Reset, and have released a new visualizer for the song "Not On Your Life" ahead of a full run of West Coast and national dates.
   

• Alchemy Surf Resort is Headed to Placer County (whatnow.com) — A massive new surf and wellness resort is planned just north of Roseville's city limits, promising California's largest inland surf destination as part of the Placer One development. With a five‑acre surf lagoon, hotel, bungalows, and family‑focused recreation, the project could draw visitors and jobs to the Roseville area, though construction isn't expected to start until summer 2027.
