With only 20 berths in this long-established floating enclave near Oracle Park, Chase Center, and OpenAI's headquarters, the listing offers an unusually intimate, resident-focused community amid the city's AI-fueled real estate boom.
   

3. San Francisco security guards strike to demand better pay and benefits (nbcbayarea.com) — Security guards in San Francisco staged a one-day strike to push for higher wages, better benefits, and improved training, saying current pay around $22–$23 an hour is not enough to support families. Their union is seeking at least $30 an hour and warns that if contract talks stall next week, similar strikes could spread to Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, the East Bay, and back into San Francisco.
