Pedestrian Killed In San Francisco Crash: Police

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Police say they're investigating a crash in San Francisco's Richmond District on Monday morning that left a pedestrian dead.

Authorities did not say what led up to the crash. It happened around 2 p.m. at the intersection of Anza Street and Arguello Boulevard, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

Officers responded to the scene and found the injured pedestrian, prompting them to render aid, police said.

Paramedics took the pedestrian to a nearby hospital for treatment, but they died from their injuries, police said.

The driver of the car, who was not identified, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, police said.
