Patriotic Parade at the Ellington Farmers Market

Join us on Saturday, July 4th from 9am to noon at Market Park, 72 Maple St in Ellington for our Patriotic Parade! Kids are invited to dress up in their finest red, white, and blue and make their very own patriotic hats and accessories at the market. Then, at 11am, get ready for a little parade of our own as our youngest market-goers march around Market Park in style.

Setting the soundtrack for the morning will be Tenpenny Bounce, bringing the lively sounds of 1920's and 1930's era jazz straight from New Orleans, Chicago, and New York. It's the kind of music that makes a Saturday morning feel like a celebration.

And speaking of celebrating — this year marks America's 250th birthday, and there's no better way to mark the occasion than with a market full of fresh, local food. Stock up on everything you need for your Fourth of July BBQ, from meats to sides to sweet treats, all from the farmers and makers who call this community home.
