Ellington Resident Wins Big On Lottery Ticket

ELLINGTON, CT — An Ellington resident claimed a $10,000 prize from the Connecticut Lottery this week.

The winner played the “$2,000,000 Jackpot” game and claimed the prize Wednesday, Sept. 16, according to the Connecticut Lottery’s winners list.

The winning ticket was purchased at Broad Brook Food Mart, located at 110 Main St. in the Broad Brook section of East Windsor.

The winner was not identified by name because the Connecticut Lottery stopped routinely releasing winners’ names on Oct. 1, 2025, and now requires their permission before doing so.
