• State Approves Major Solar Farm In Ellington (patch.com) — Ellington residents will see a major change near Schoolhouse Road as a 4.99‑megawatt solar farm at a local orchard moves forward with state approval and strict environmental conditions. The project includes firefighter training, protections for the Shenipsit Lake watershed and wildlife, and noise monitoring, while also addressing town concerns about buffers, views, and the loss of agricultural land.
   

• Eversource crews restore power to more than 185,000 customers following nor'easter (greenwichfreepress.com) — Eversource reports it has restored power to most Connecticut customers after the weekend nor'easter, with crews still working on remaining complex outages and making repairs in Ellington.
